WiFiServer
INSTALLATION AND
SETUP
iPhone or iPod Touch
- Download a compatible client application for iPhone or iPod
Touch from the App Store (such as WiFiControl
or Photos2Show).
- Tap Set
Identifier and set a unique identifier.
WiFiServer
preference pane for Mac
- Download the WiFiServer
preference pane from our WiFiServer web
page.
- Install the WiFiServer by double-clicking the file
"WiFiServer.prefPane".
- Purchase a serial
number.
- Set the Identifier to the same value
as set on the iPhone or iPod Touch client application. Only when
the iPhone or iPod
Touch client application and the Mac server preference pane use the
same Identifier will they be
able to
communicate.
The Identifier can
be thought of as a password or channel. It's
best to not use the default Identifier
and set your own unique Identifier.
Set an
Identifier as you would a password; something that no one else can
guess.
